引用或轉貼文章並不是罪過，而是加速知識流通的方法，不過前提是要彼此尊重，轉貼、引用文章，出處的標示是絕對不可少的，這是最基本的禮貌，畢竟文章的原作也是花了不少時間和心血的，轉貼人不過是“剪下、貼上”的工夫，即使是小小一部份的引用，都該標清楚，這部份的內容是從那裡看到的，是誰寫的，甚至你寫的這篇文章，是由於你看了“誰寫的那一篇文章”所引發的靈感，這都是應該被讀者知道的事情，除了尊重原作外，也能夠提醒自己撰文的緣起何在。 Trackback技術本意是很好的，只是有時候因為技術的限制讓它的功能受限，不過除了Trackback之外，我覺得在內文中直接敘述文章引用的出處和作者會是不錯的辦法。

trackback作为一种先进技术和功能的代表，死去的可能还是很小的。目前很多网站都提供API，并且受到用户的青睐，trackback也算是blog上的一种API，所以没理由也不应该死去。trackback常常作为一种blog之间的文章对文章的回复，我觉得使用最棒的就是前一阵子的那个怪癖串联，写下自己的怪癖文章，然后到下家的五个blog上进行人工"ping"，这五个人写完自己的怪癖，再把文章trackback到上家的文章里，无形之中形成了一种节点间的连接，如果大家的trackback都是标准化格式，像rss那样完美，搜索引擎爬虫就可以轻易的收集出所有怪癖文章，形成一个准确完整地专题库了。从这点上讲，trackback和blogroll就是将孤立的blog进行社会性关系连接的技术实现手段。

使用起来麻烦，也没有特别好的交流效果，Trackback这个连接Blog内容的纽带在强大的Blog搜索引擎面前越来越失去了光华。

Trackbacks do work and you can get them to work by moderation (the keyword here) in light of excessive spam. Trackbacks need not be instantaneous. If the site owner receiving the trackback feels it appropriate and relevant to her post, she can then moderate to include it as part of the feedback. Trackbacks should be left to the discretion of the owner if she'd like to list that in her own trackback section, just like the comments. Most serious bloggers do take praise and criticism in the same breath, so this isn't a problem.
